I don't know how these duo authors worked together on this series merely they definitely left some gaps. So much so that I thought I had missed critical data from another series or or earlier book even though I was on books ane and two. Then there were the transitions that felt off; like one author wrote this half of the chapter while the other writer wrote the remaining only the 2nd writer failed to reread what the 1st writer typed in.

I don't know how these duo authors worked together on this series merely they definitely left some gaps. So much so that I thought I had missed critical information from another series or or earlier book fifty-fifty though I was on books ane and 2. Then there were the transitions that felt off; like one author wrote this one-half of the chapter while the other writer wrote the remaining merely the 2nd writer failed to reread what the 1st author typed in.
Also Sky starts off meek and scared running for her life. Books 2and3 she literally had no purpose other than a fly on the wall. In book iv she has a very annoying moral compass that gets brought in ad nauseam. She has null useful to add to the situations she puts herself in. I like the plot, all the twists and turns fifty-fifty the side characters are interesting yet I could do with a rewrite of Skys personality. Since there are apparently more books to the serial and then I will continue to read and promise her superiority complex improves.
I'm enjoying the serial, though sometimes confused by the convoluted rules of the "otherworld". If you similar books about shifters, vampires, witches and the rest of the supernatural worlds yous too volition like this serial. There are a few things in these books that are driving me crazy though. The use of predaceous as a description of shifters...in every discription!! The wishy-washy way the heroine thinks and acts. ...more I really tried to like Skylar but she acts like a spoiled brat, constantly putting everyone around her in danger. Every other scene is the pack asking her not to do something that endangers them and her going off and doing anyways. It likewise wasn't fifty-fifty a slow fire romance. I don't mind it taking awhile only ... ugh. I fabricated it through only information technology was tough.
This was great series. The characters were well thought out and multi-dimensional. Skyler, I loved and hated. He level of defiance and altruism was a petty likewise much.
I honey this series!!! It's my favorite series and world to escape into! Every time I reread this series I autumn in love even more! McKenzie has done an amazing job growing the characters in this series.

Definitely a good read, If your a fan Patricia Briggs you lot will enjoy this set. Has a skillful plot too information technology.
Intended for teen audience?
I was surprised past how much I liked this serial. The plot was very surprising and kept me guessing. I honey the world McKenzie Hunter has created.
